We enjoyed the facilities and thought the house perfect for our holiday. The standard of accommodation was very high and I would have no hesitation in using or recommending the house to my friends.

Excellent property - very well equipped and situated. Availability of fuel for fires very much appreciated.

The house was well equipped, comfortable and well situated for walks directly from the house.

The location was excellent for walking, either at low level along the river, or up on the hills. The property overall, was lovely and spacious and well equipped. The large dining table in the kitchen was lovely for family gatherings and gave a real homely feel. The front lobby was especially useful for muddy boots and the many coat hooks were well used.

The property is fantastic - I'd stayed there before and was glad to find an excuse to go back. The owner is also very friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for hill walking, and perfect for taking a complete break.

Lovely cottage, very roomy. Would definitely consider going back.

A thoroughly wonderful location and excellent standard of accommodation. Nice to have all the comforts of home including DVD player and DVDs to watch as well as amazing fires.

Walking. Great variety from up Buckden Pike and Great Whernside to Dales Way between Grassington and Starbotton. The bus service - we like not having to use a car.

Location good for walking straight from the cottage. Lots of things to do and see within driving distance. Fountains Abbey excellent - spent a whole day there.

Excellent property for families or friends sharing. Excellent walks on doorstep. Shop and pub only 1 minutes walk.

The Buck Inn does the best 'Haddock & chips'. Lots of space for 2 families in the house. Very well equipped - we went home with most of the stuff we brought up!

The Buck pub is 2 mins walk away and is excellent for food and beer. You can start out on beautiful walks direct from the property.
